Re: Chemo
A close friend went through an awful time with chemo last year. She had peritoneal cancer and is now in remission after a terrible time and a massive operation. But they said she was allergic to chemo. She couldn't eat and could hardly move with weakness through malnutrition and nausea. They had to carry her to sessions. She did a lot better on the chemo drugs and now her hair has grown back and she is in full remission. She looks fabulous, like someone in her twenties. It's amazing how quickly the body heals. The suffering is awful but temporary. The results are amazing.
I wish you well and it's really interesting about the Quakers. I'm drawn to them although I've never been. Seems to be one of the most tolerant and thoughtful religions.
