Cash Trapped

Anyone watching this?
It is Bradley Walsh's new quiz which is on instead of 'The Chase'?

I can't make head nor tail of it so far, and am not impressed.

Re: Cash Trapped

I've just watched it Mups, it sounds all of a muddle to me .... give me The Chase any day

Definitely not one of the best Quiz shows...

Re: Cash Trapped

I'm glad it's not just me then, Mags.

I think they bring the same contestants back all week as well, don't they?

Much as I love Bradley, this is a little too much of him IMO.
The chasers all shared the lime-light before, but this is only Bradley and I'm finding it a little monotonous.

Bradley doesn't put any excitement into this game, it just seems the same old thing over and over again. It certainly doesn't grip you like other games

Twice now Mups I've tried to follow it while having me dinner, but Ray Mears on the travel channel or 'How it's made' on Quest has lured me away. I loved 'The Chase' but I haven't got a clue how 'Cash Trapped' works. And now to add insult to injury, 'Eggheads' has been taken off in favour of the World Athletics Championships.....Dinner will never be the same......

Doesn't look like it's going to be all that popular, does it.

Re: Cash Trapped

I thought I'd get this quiz this time around-but no.
What I do like is The Question Jury on Ch4.This is the second series.

Re: Cash Trapped

This is the second series and it's no clearer than the first. The first series was slated by the critics and hardly anyone watched it but ITV in their wisdom have made another. It was also created by Bradley Walsh.

Re: Cash Trapped

I think it is ok, mainly because, each round requires a different strategy, and if the less erudite contestants, chance by a question they know, and the sharper ones don't, they target them, and freeze them out, it is good to watch the interplay.
