He was a fantastic lovely Man and a wonderful warm entertainer who gave great pleasure to millions of people.

One of my earliest childhood memories is watching the generation game on a Saturday night. Lots of people, like us, still had black and white TVs. So he would do his "give us a twirl Anthea" and then describe the colours of her dress for those without the luxury of a colour telly.
