Duck is not often on the everyday menu over here. Mostly reserved for special occasions in fancy restaurants. Likely because it is quite expensive.
Another poultry dish not often served is cornish hen, same reason which is cost.
I love Cornish hen. We can buy them at anytime in the store, but I've never seen them on the menu at a restaurant. They're quite pricey here as well. At times, just one Cornish hen can cost more than a regular whole chicken that weighs 5 or 6 pounds.
