Re: Grace
Thanks again everyone, we have a care plan now so she can come home next week after her consultant gets her medications organised and her wheel chair arrives.
Been onto the council but they won't let us put a stair lift in which was a blow as I can't get her up and down the stairs, one of the boys will need to be here. But didn't surprise me they aren't very disability friendly here.
SS are being amazingly helpful after our initial suspicion the care worker does actually seem to want to help.
One thing is coming out of this Grace is desperate to have us adopt her, I didn't realise just how strongly she felt, doesn't mean she forgets her mum but will make her feel safer and more part of things. So once she is home that's near top of the list to arrange and SS Sheila is on to it she thinks it's a great idea
We are going to have an aid come in the morning to help me get her up and off to school until she can manage herself again, physio is certain she will get a lot of movement back because she is so dedicated anddetermined apparently that's eighty percent of the battle.
Anyway got ten minutes so having a cuppa and a catch up I seem to be addicted to chai lattes now that can't be good
