Autumn adventures.
I love Autumn a great season to see wildlife, so i thought i might put up a few of my days out and tell of what i encountered.
Saturday 2cd Sept.
A trip down the coast to seawatch and check the high tide roost.
S West wind meant poor prospects of movement at sea, but a surprise of a Kingfisher on the rocks was a nice start followed closely by a Black -throated diver feeding close to shore.
Two Great Skua south but distant and the highlight was 3 Baleric shearwater feeding a mile offshore added to a decent start to migration.
Waders included Greenshank, Redshank, Dunlin, Turnstone Oystercatcher, Curlew, Golden plover, Sanderling, Ringed Plover, Lapwing.
Last week a pod of Dolphins, Hobby, and a migrating Marsh harrier well out to sea.
i will add a few phoitos as chance dictates or some links to stuff i cant photograph.
