Vocal

Our Elsie Labrador is most vocal dog we've ever had, not barking noisy but she almost talks in funny grunts and yips.
So much so we all have conversations with her. How are you we ask ok she yips back. Anyway this evening was a doozy my husband had her lead and I had Betty's standing at side of road waiting to cross over to the park, and my husband said might be better if we walk along to the crossing at top of the road, ok I said, now we are absolutely convinced we both heard Elsie say the f word off I'm crossing here !

And with that I'm going to bed because I'm obviously over tired hearing she would swear, we aren't a sweaty family she wouldn't dare

Re: Vocal

I can quite believe you , my Ellie keeps giving a long loud sigh when ever we disturb her by talking when she is going to sleep, it so funny we burst out laughing at her . She sounds so human .

Re: Vocal

The pub that we occasionally call into after the late shift has a husky and she talks to all the customers.

Re: Vocal

Chloe is very vocal too if she is barking at anyone outside I don't tell her off but call her to me saying 'tell me about it' and she stops barking and says 'rarr rarr rarr' .

When she wants her breakfast (6am usually) she comes to the bedside and gives a long growl that goes on and on
