Well here I am! So I knew Bendigo was going to be good.. but oh my god guys.. it is beautiful!!! Like really beautiful! I am so stoked to be here and am feeling incredibly lucky to have scored this for my Choice Travel Grammer2017 destination! It ooooozes the warmth of a rural city, which I LOVE, but it is so so rich in history and culture from the gold rush days, and the monumental buildings that were built during that time are completely and utterly spellbinding.
The Sacred Heart Cathedral, built from local sandstone nearly 150 years ago, is one of the largest churches in Australia and is definitely one of my favourites so far... make sure you swipe right to see what I found inside those doors! ����.. oh and ps... I’ve only one more day here so if you have any hot tips for things I shouldn’t miss please let me know!
