Can't clean windows with the sun on them can you Jac? It's been a horrid wet miserable day here, so on with the cleaning and tidying.....

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Have just bitten the bullet and ordered a new laptop from Amazon. (Bought a new printer last week and it will have nothing to do with my old desktop - still running on XP. Phoned the computer geek and he fell about laughing when he heard I was still on XP and basically ordered me to go and buy a new machine!)

Awaiting the arrival of the bath engineers. The carers opened the waste outlet this morning and flooded the floor. I was not amused to spend 3/4 hour mopping......

Onwards and upwards.......

The day has not ended well. Jamie is in Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny having broken his arm (again) in the same place. He slipped on some wet concrete steps and is now in bed on the children's ward and due for an op to plate the arm in the morning. Poor chap.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Lovely sunshine after the terrible storm the other night . My window is wrecked but will have to wait until sun has gone down a bit
We are having a new arial for the flats so men will be to and fro re- tuning so not worth doing much . I could get Welsh news last night . I've always got my signal from across the water up to now so that's good xx
Hope everybody are ok xxx
