Goodbye I guess

Had a letter Friday telling us we have to move out while subsidence work is completed, will be two weeks they say, Grace is going to stay with ivana and Nathan will be on a friends couch, Steven and I will be in local B&B.

If I can get on line I will but I might not be able to.

Happening middle of next week and I'm not looking forward to it, luckily Gracie thinks it's an adventure.

Aw Julie - what a shock it must be for you. They don't give you much notice do they?

Will you have access to your home if you need to go back for something or do you have to strictly stay away while the work is being carried out?

I expect it's for the best really.

Hope you manage to get online.

How disrupting for you all Julie, hope the dogs will be ok .
Can you not go to the caravan and ask that they cover the costs involved (heating etc) instead of bed and breakfast.

Re: Goodbye I guess

Caravan site closes from end of October all water turned off and no electric Meg it's an 8 month site not residential.

Once we leave no access until it's finished, health and safety and no road making it difficult to get back in.

So we have to take enough stuff we won't need to come back, medications are most important almost anything else we can learn to live without.

We were worried Gracie might take it badly as she's only just settled after the adoption but as I say she thinks it fun so that's one worry we can forget.

Elsie is going to ivanas place but Betty will come with me I predict we will all be at poor ivanas place until bedtimes so we can all be together.

Hope it's not too traumatic. Two weeks seems fine, and might be a nice change.

Good luck, I'm sure you will have internet access, most places do now.

I wish you well Julie.
Hopefully, you will be able to find Wi-Fi.
If not try the local library.

Quite a lot of cafes and pubs have free Wi Fi now but you have to put up with their adverts.
