Sunny days

I saw my first beautiful tortoiseshell butterfly this year on Monday, and today I had a huge wasp in my shed, dreaded things.
Summer is coming!

Re: Sunny days

I saw a couple of butterflies in the garden today, it's good to get outdoors in the sunshine again and potter in the garden I love this time of the year when all the buds are getting ready to burst.

Re: Sunny days

Ive also seen a couple of butterflies and on Monday a huge lumbering bee was flying around in the garden.

Ive got seed for butterfly attracting flowers ready for my little flower bed at the base of the tree in the street. I hope something nice comes up this summer.

Re: Sunny days

What a difference sun makes. I've seen a few bumble bees and a couple of butterflies which really does make it feel as though Spring weather is here to stay.
I've overdone it as usual with the sun appearing. Been a couple of days in the garden and this morning was spent tidying up the allotment. My joints are playing up a bit, especially my hand but I just can't sit down.
