Wasps

Wasps are starting to appear, they are a gardener`s friend at this time of the year. It`s only later on when they cannot find food and turn to your fruit and get pissed that they can become a pest.

Re: Wasps

I just sprayed two of the buggers to death in the shed, they were driving me nuts with their buzzing. They seem to get into the shed alright but like mother's in law they forget where the door is.

Re: Wasps

One hears jokes about the MIL-the last time I saw mine was at the wedding reception. She then wrote a poison pen letter to her daughter.

Re: Wasps

I do not react badly to stings but a hornet sting is very itchy.

Re: Wasps

My wife worked with bees for two years when she was young, in “The Honey Stores” she loved it but the owner sold out and she had to get another job, she said she never got stung once.
I could add something to that but I won’t in case she happens to gawk in here.
