I wish someone would invent a cream or spray to put on and would keep the wasps away from us . I hate them and they always Buzz back even if you try to walk away quietly.

Bye the way what is best used for their nasty sting

Antihistamine if you react. But I repeat wasps do an awful lot of good in the garden.

I seem to remember Grandma used to put something named 'Dolly Blue' on stings. Not sure what that is or if it is even still available.

Yes my mpother used Dolly Blue bags, they were put into your washing i think to improve the whites, and also on my wasp stings.

Good for nettle stings too! Had wasp in my kitchen yesterday. Don't have any mother in laws though, thank heavens!

Wasps and MIL, ones a nasty loud buzzing stinging thing, the others an insect.

I've seen a few of the horrible blighters, they scare me to death! I've always had a wasp phobia and when I was actually stung the pain was unbearable, bees don't bother me as they don't follow me around but wasps serve no purpose imo!
