Re: Wasps

Wasps do serve a purpose-google them as a friend to a gardener.

Re: Wasps

I agree Honey, I don't like the damn things either.
I've seen 3 huge queen wasps already this year, I do hope its not going to be a bad year for wasps. 'Orrible little blighters.

Re: Wasps

they are indeed horrible because they follow you around! I don't see them as a friend to the gardener, bees yes but wasps are just there to annoy us

Re: Wasps

Had a wasps nest in the loft last year and had it removed. Also two nests in two separate buildings. I have stopped them getting in this year before they try, sealed the holes up they were using. The blighters did not like anyone within ten foot of them.

Re: Wasps

I have a very large garden and it is a haven for all kinds of insects and I have a lot of fruit trees and it seems all the wasps in the neighbour hood congregate in my garden when the fruit is ripe to have month long party. but I
have ever been stung once and that was by a Bee. what I dont like are the tiny black things that come of the fields in august they cover the house and make you feel that they are crawling all over you. hoeeible things
