Have Faggots, have Sweet potatoes, have frozen veg, so will cook that and make some gravy to accompany and that will be my lunch this afternoon.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

My husband made a nice vegetable and cheese pie last night so I'm having a bit of that.

Btw custard was nice yesterday but failed to crack the ginger cake problem, even the dogs can't chew it. I think I've discovered something we can make unbreakable panels out of if concrete ever becomes rare.

Julie darlin' they used to give us oatmeal biscuits like that at school, plus a dollop of Semolina - the only reason we had the Semolina was to soften the oatmeal biscuits. I blotted my copybook one day - stuck my fork on top of the biscuit, and hit it hard with the palm of my hand. The biscuit shattered and crumbs went everywhere. One piece skated across the plate, picked up a piece of semolina, hit the edge of the plate and rose in the air, travelled between the two pupils opposite and hit a teacher in the back of the neck. The semolina dropped off the biscuit straight down the teacher's neck. I was far from popular!!!
