Rollie and 'his' horse.

The people behind us had two horses.
When we first moved here, Rollie kept running back there and over time he began to try and herd them from his side of the fence!
If they ever got too close to the far sides of the fence, he would bark like crazy, and try to get them to move back into the middle! Most of the time, it worked.
Eventually, Rollie and the bigger horse developed a friendship of sorts, and always greet each other when Rollie goes back there.
There is only the one horse now - Rollie's boy! - and they still are great buddies. The owner of the horse, who doesn't own dogs, always has a pocket full of dog biscuits for Rollie, and loves to tell everybody how they greet each other, and how Rollie is his guardian/herder.
Enough of the nattering. Here's some pictures!

Lovely photos, really made me smile. As Silver Tabby has said a message for all humans, 'tho I doubt it will ever get through to them.
