Re: POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: When is it Too Much?
Oh I believe you. When I was still working in England I, along with colleagues, was frequently sent on training courses re PC. Terminology changed all the time, what was right one week was wrong the next week. My all time favourite, was, still is, "you do not ask for black coffee, you ask for coffee without milk".Re: POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: When is it Too Much?
It's too much when it defies common sense such as the example quoted, but how did we ever get to a situation where the PC bullies and thought police held such sway over us, it's not so much a doctrine now as a full blown b****y religion.....Re: POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: When is it Too Much?
