Yes, I don't remember this problem happening before a few weeks ago.

Rather than my control panel, I have now begun to look in the OFF home page/new posts/posted in today, and scroll back through all of today's and see if I recognise any of them.

Normally in Canada one eye each week.. I insisted the Doctor do both together, and he agreed.. What are the odds of anything going wrong..Laser cataract surgery is so specialized today. I had my eyes done at 9 am and was home by 10:30 am by late afternoon I was seeing good, just all the eye drops bugged me..

Been almost 4 weeks now and I'm seeing excellent, and are the colours ever bright..

Ah, therein lies the difference.

The cataract surgery I had, and which is the usual practice here, is the removal of the lens from its capsule and its replacement with a synthetic lens.

I know from personal experience that the eye that has been operated on is still blurry (though I'm not sure why) for a few days. Mine is, two days after the operation.

I'm hoping it will improve!

Since I was having both eyes done at the same time, I had extra precautions put on me.. I had to go and have a laser scan for sizing of the replacement lens.

Mine was a good experience, nurses were great, Doctor excellent, blurry at first, but by late afternoon I was able to see pretty good..

As for the replacement lens, we have the normal one, which is covered by insurance, the other 3 types are not and are very expensive..

Ah, I thought you had the cataract(s) 'dissolved' by laser in some way. I'm sure we don't have that here.

On the other hand, I did have a scan for sizing (which may or may not have involved a laser?).

My experience also was excellent. The staff at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (our regional specialist hospital) couldn't have been better.
