Been there many times and never seen water flowing over the cliff.
Amazing amount of water fell in a short time so no wonder.

It was the water that formed Malham Cove so you can imagine what
it used to be like.

Gosh that is quite something to see isn't it maybe never to be repeated in our lifetime..

It must have been amazing to see the waterfall for the first time.
I feel for the people flooded out of their homes though.

A wonderful place and made more so by this truly spectacular event. Mother nature can be cruel but so kind

That's amazing footage. I've been walking around there many times and walked along the top of that cliff when dry!
