Bird call question for Nom

Listening to the birds here and wishing I knew who was who! There is one bird with a repetitive three note call - the first two notes the same and the last a major third higher (if you aren't familiar with musical intervals it's the same as the first two notes of Morning has Broken). Can you identify it?

Thanks for the reply Nom. I've had a listen to the great tit online and it's not that. Although it has the same clarity in its tone, the notes are different.

The RSPB site does have audio files, try trawling through those, but there is no substitute for experience.

Thanks Purwell. It doesn't really sound like the audio though. I'll have to follow a chaffinch around to listen!
