Sure wish my boys were more like this at bath time.

He doesn't seem excited, that's for sure.
But he did it anyway.
Good boy!

Not like my little blighters. As soon as they hear the shower water they disappear and have to be tracked down and captured!

YUCK fancy bathing an animal in a bathroom. Ours had the hose turned on them if it was necessary!

And how would you enjoy that on a bitter cold winters day, then left outside to drip dry presumably?
An enjoyable experience? Look forward to the next time, would you?

Re: Basil the Great Dane, and bath time

Bit different to the struggle I have with Elsie, often have wait for her dad to come home because he can pick her up and put her in where I have to push and struggle her through the bathroom door

Only time I have used an outside hose was when it was very hot and we played with the hose to cool them down, the idea of regular bathing with cold water doesn't seem fair I wouldn't like it so why would they ?

Use a nice smelling gentle shampoo and conditioner too.

Betty is done in kitchen sink and stands on the draining board to be towelled off, I can't see a problem as long as I clean the sink etc afterwards.

They are animals NOT humans. Anyway I wouldn't have hosed them down on a freezing cold day, they were never permitted in the living rooms, so if they were really grubby they had to sleep in the garage.
