I marinaded the chicken strips in soy sauce, garlic purée and tomato purée....then stir fried the vegetables for just a couple of minutes and decanted them to a lidded dish.
I then stir fried the chicken for just a couple of minutes added some soy sauce, cumin, five spice and half a chicken stock cube and some MSG.
I recombined the veg and chicken added the pineapple chunks and a little sugar and some cornflour and water ... Checked and adjusted the seasoning and served it up on a bed of Chinese noodles.
That sounds good Malcolm, it would be nice with Thai Spices, Lemongrass & Ginger.
Making a roast today have managed to get everyone here for about 5pm so im aiming for a roast stuffed chicken, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings brocolli and peas.m
Havent cooked for jordan since easter so it has to be good !
Just a thought UJ I have a little wheel along trolley if I can't stand in the kitchen I sit in the living room doing veg on top of that. If it's just prep you can't manage something like that might help you too ?
