Shredded Cow

I went into my local supermarket & asked for help on the delicatessen.
I've had misunderstandings with them before.

I asked for minced beef , duly served up and neatly packaged and handed to me and the assistant said to me "Heres your shredded cow"

I said "What" & back came the reply,
"I said will that be all now?"

I'm 90% deaf so it was no surprise to me that I heard her wrongly.

But I've been looking at the "Shredded Cow" all afternoon, I don;t think I can eat it now

My missus went vegan for a while, I think it was a protest about me eating almost raw beef steak... All by the by, she lived on butternut squash lasagne for dinner, green pea soup for lunch, chickpea fritters for brekky. Her farts were green, virulent carpet creepers! I had to buy expensive air purifiers! Even the dog used to walk out of the room It lasted a week!
