Those Pesky Chinese

While we wait for Boris and his fabled aircraft carrier to find its way out here the Australian Navy has been sailing through waters claimed by China.

My son's ship oiler HMAS Success was in company with frigates HMAS Toowoomba and HMAS Anzac (his previous ship) sailing to Vietnam when they were challenged by the Chinese Navy.

According to the newspaper reports the exchanges from the Australian ships were 'robust'

Apparently they went to action stations Z but they arrived safely in North Vietnam.
