Indian restaurant etiquette
When eating the starters of poppadoms and chutneys/dips do you spoon the chutneys and dips onto a plate first or dip the poppadoms directly into the pots?Not sure if my friend was winding me up when he said that the chutneys and dips are topped up and passed around to other customers or not! I’m hoping not! I had been dipping into the pots with the poppadoms, as I usually do, but now I’m not so sure I should be.
What is the correct thing to do?
