I don't eat eggs so no, I don't boil them in a kettle

Yes, it's been around for a long while about cooking fish in the d/washer - I wouldn't do it, I haven't got a d/washer

The underwear "habit" was, IIRC, mentioned by Marilyn Monroe in "the Seven Year Itch" and was adopted by young ladies of my acquaintance during the heatwave of 1976 .....

The "habit" persists and, in times of temperature crisis, is resurrected .....

As, I don't eat boiled eggs and don't own a kettle...I suppose it's time for me to catch the next train...

I really don't understand the idea of boiling an egg in a kettle isn't it easier in a pan and less fuss? Eggs sometimes crack imagine trying to get that off the kettle element.

I have never boiled an egg in a kettle, nor would I do so.
