Good morning everyone
it is bright but very chilly here.The fence is completed and I am off to finish moving plants before the rain arrives tomorrow.
I have also bought a Campanula Augistfolia Alba (large white Canterbury bell) to add to the herbaceous border.

Don't see the point of decorating though - will the new people not want to do it to their own taste and preference ? They must have been reasonably happy with it when they viewed or they would not have bought it.
The heating was working, now stopped again,hot water is working though.
The deal with the house is that I will redecorate to their choice, which is all white.
I also have to fill in the Garden Pond and remove my Raised Beds.
It is an elderly couple who are buying it, they want to move in with nothing to do, Husband is not well.
They are buying a load of furniture from me as well.
They are paying up front for this.
They have instructed Solicitors, so must be serious.
They are local, live in the same village.
Lawrence, husband, has already paid cash up front for the decorating.

You say you have all these ongoing health problems Swim, how the 'eck do you think you will be able to do all that work? Will you have to pay someone to fill in the pond/dismantle raised beds/re-decorate etc?
I think it's a flaming cheek to be honest, especially as they expect you to drop £70,000 on the asking price too!

Good morning everyone bright and sunny here.Next door’s fence blew down in the strong winds yesterday, fortunately it was put up against the dividing wall so no damage on our side.

They have and are paying for it.
I was going to be losing £70k on my house, but now only £50k.
The house I am buying is a forced sale, so a lot to be made on it.
It is much smaller than the one I live in, but ideally situated and with a nice garden.
No Mortgage, vastly less Council Tax, no water meter.
I qualify for the Rent a Room Tax Free Scheme.
This has been confirmed.
Out goes the bad, in comes the New.
My kids get another payout and I have £3k a month after tax to spend.
I am not Proud, a smaller house is fine by me.
