Scargill has occupied the Barbican apartment, rented from the Corporation of London, since June 1982.
The union also successfully disputed Scargill's fuel allowance at his Barnsley home and payment for the preparation of his annual tax return, but not the cost of the security system at his Yorkshire home.
Explaining his decision, the judge said Scargill's predecessors had enjoyed the "very generous benefit" of having houses in or near London bought for them by the union, adding that they were also allowed to occupy the properties after retiring at a very low rent, or to buy them at a "very reduced price".

Given a diet of reality TV, quiz shows with their main past time being shopping, with money they don't have (or don't earn) to fill their homes with shit they don't really need to help the "economy".
When someone writes a well-written thread of public interest to stir up debate and thinking (most of the UK cannot do this!) we get *****s like this saying "boring" etc etc.
Let's face it, I bet William and Kate (you know that woman who has managed to do what no one else has ever done and is actually having a baby!) are not going to name their daughter "Jacintha" after the poor nurse who killed herself!
Regarding Duchy, their blackcurrant yogurts are full of saturated fat and sugar and are really unhealthy. Perhaps they are trying to kill everyone off with heart disease to reduce the nation's future pension liabilities. Shame on Waitrose for selling them!
