Yes, some of the charity shops near me are really dear...I know they've got to make money but some are a bit greedy.

Where do they determine prices like that?

There are just as many charity shops in posh parts of town as there are in poor areas. Normally the ones in the latter are cheaper.

For an example - paperbacks in good condition in the posh shops are around £3.50 whereas elsewhere you can get them for around £1.

I have 2 mobiles. One is an all singing and dancing Samsung Galaxy 6 on a flexible contract, the other is a cheap Doro mobile on the 1p a minute payg that Realist recommended here on the forum.
I tend to make lots of heavy breathing calls.......I have COPD 😁😁😁

I have one very old clam shell type mobile, which I only use once a month ringing my landline in order to keep the mobile account active. It is only there for emergencies and never switched on. Only my children have the number but know it is a waste of time trying to contact me that way.

I have 2 mobiles on the go.
An LG 5 and an IPhone SE
My Wifey has two on the go as well, and the various data plans for the 4 phones cost us around £30 a month.
Plus I have a data dongle plan for this IPad I am using right now to make this post.
