Re: Tramadol

Seems from news coming out now the man she was "helping" was also being helped by about twenty other women who were bringing him tramadol. IMO that sounds like he was selling them and getting daft women to supply them to him. If only innocently she was caught up in an illegal scheme and many countries that's as good as being guilty.

I've just weaned myself off mine I was getting 100 a month, when I said to my GP I didn't want any more she said I'll just leave them on repeat then you can just ask if you need some more. That IMO is dangerous because I still crave them even now after three weeks off them. And if I wanted to sell them I now have a ready supply.

Re: Tramadol

I was on these after pancreatitis and the most I ever got at once was around 48 plus I had to sign for them as I believe they're a controlled substance.

Yes you have to sign for them in the controlled substance book but you can get more if you need them for a long time, gps can prescribe 100 at a time if that's what you need.

Re: Tramadol

I still have a supply of these, prescribed after my op cos I couldn't have morphine. I read in an article recently that it (M) could counteract with a drug I am already on which is probably why the pain team wouldn't let me have it.

I do know T is a controlled substance and therefore it is only here for emergencies. It will mostly probably run out of date before I need it again.

Re: Tramadol

The daily fail article stated that she didn't know the difference between them and a tube of smarties. I'd like to know how she got hold of 290 of them and thought travelling to Egypt with them was an OK idea.
