Jenny

She needs her own thread not just a foster any more.

She's been very reluctant to get onto furniture at all, ours are welcome on beds and sofas but this afternoon after a muddy walk and quick shower she came in shook her hair into place and used Betty's step ladder to get onto the sofa , where she's been happily snoring ever since. I think she's at home and realises this is ok.

So we chose her and now she's chosen us.

It's lovely having an oldie again. A steadying paw on the other two hooligans. Well until she's awake then she's a lunatic and dashing around the flat at speed of light mostly

Re: Jenny

Any chance of a sneaky sleeping pic of the new arrival Julie?

Glad to hear Jenny has fitted right in

Re: Jenny

I don't post pictures Rhian on any part of the Internet. We are legally bound to keep Gracie's picture off the net and posting the other members of the family never seems fair to her or them.

If the legal blanket is removed I will happily post away. I miss being able to tbh.

Re: Jenny

That's great that Jenny's made herself officially at home!
Do you know how old she is?
Not that it matters!
Here's to many years of her dashing around!

Re: Jenny

Vet says she's between 12 and 14 can't be more precise, I'd say 12 she's quite active and keeping up with my girls I doubt at 14 she'd be quite so spry. Although I've never had a 14 year old mine have all managed about 10 to 13 so if she is 14 she's a first for us.

I think she's been well looked after at some points as she has all her own teeth and great skin. She was a bit matted underneath her tummy so we had to shave that off, and her tail was a bit of a mess again had to shave that too, she'll look more attractive once that's grown back.

She really is a super old lady, doesn't seem to have a bad bone in her, friendly to everyone and fine with other dogs.

Mystifies me how anyone could throw her away as we can't find a single thing wrong with her.

She sounds gorgeous Julie, I am glad you kept her, and that she can eventually end her days having had some love in her life.
Well done you.
