I had the usual anaesthetic injection and out came the pliers. Thinking I'd feel nothing, I hit the ceiling. Apparently, infection and abscesses greatly reduce the effectiveness of an anaesthetic.

I wish I'd had gas, but apparently they don't do that any more.

Some dentist are not even qualified to pull teeth!
