I'm with Annie on this.
We can get their well enough already if we choose, it is not as we can't get to France is it, so how can he justify the expense of making yet another way?

Haven't they already wasted something like 37 million on looking into the Garden Bridge across the Thames all for nothing?
So how many more millions will be spent on the feasibility of a bridge across the Channel, and then that all be for nothing too? How can all this money be afforded, it is hardly for a life or death situation is it.

What a pity an amount like that isn't being invested in getting the NHS back on it's feet first.

Re: Daftest idea yet! ("Boris Bridge)

What a tourist attraction it would be! Boris might be a buffoon but what a good idea.

Locally we had to built a bridge to bypass a piece of unstable cliff road now it is a major tourist attraction and it is only tiny.

Go halves with France, it's nation building - each build half. NSW and Victoria did to cross the mighty Murray River when they were separate colonies and sometimes they even met in the middle (occasionally with a bit of a bend and/or different styles).

Notice that the Victorian half is sinking too.

Well done Boris your aircraft carrier fiasco is forgiven
