A few years ago I had a very bad and persistent cough, spasms of which meant I was totally out of control of parts of my body. Was still working at the time. Took a referral to a Consultant in the Chest Clinic and loads of tests for it to be shown that the whole thing was down to the BP medication I was on. This was changed and within three months I was recovered. Anything with 'piril' in it has this effect on me.

Blasted cough won't go,got another course of penicillin with a referral to a chest clinic,wonder how long it'll take,the Doctor reckons that I should have confirmation of an appointment by Friday this week having seen him today.

Appointment at the hospital on Tuesday of next week for a breathing test and an x ray then a Doctor,not bad.

Hope all goes well at the clinic Caricature, it's awful when coughs go on and on and really tiring.

Have been given an inhaler and nasal spray,follow up breathing test to be done,seems as if I have lungs like a smoker,I gave up some 36+ yrs ago so its down to working in what at times as not been the cleanest of environments for the past 43 yrs.

And me to, and I still have a persistant cough since I was about 8 years old.
