Re: How much for a hair cut?

Surely he must've cut each hair individually?
Yes, that was it!

Re: How much for a hair cut?

Surely that couldn't have been the price for just a haircut?

Perhaps he had a massage and skin treatment and stuff as well?
Even then, I'd have done it with me dog clippers in 30 seconds for half that price.

In 2012:

The most expensive hairdressers in the UK

https://www.lovemoney.com/news/14601...f-your-haircut

The Michael John Salon in Mayfair charges £162 for a shampoo, cut and finish for ladies and £117 for men. If you fancy a bit of colour you could pay anything from £110 for a tint to £300 for a head of highlights. So, if you are a woman wanting a cut and colour you could be looking at just under £462 for your visit.

At the Stuart Phillips Salon in Covent Garden, if you want Stuart himself (and who wouldn’t?!), you are looking at £200 for ladies and £115 for gents, with a blow-dry costing between £80 and £115. Add on up to £220 for a full head of highlights, and you are looking at over £500 for your cut and colour.

This is nothing compared to the VIP International Experience that Mr Phillips offers to global cash fritterers. The Gold Package costs £8,000 (plus VAT), but it does include a limo from the airport to the salon, champagne, lunch, massage, products and a limo ride back to the airport on top of your hairstyling.

The Diamond Package costs a ridiculous £20,000 plus VAT, but includes a limo, first or business class flights, a top class London hotel, champagne lunch or dinner, massage, hair style and products to last a year. The icing on the cake is that you can request a musician or pop group to come and entertain you during your appointment.
Didn't David Cameron pay £90 to have his parting changed from left to right and didn't Bill Clinton, using Air Force 1, drop in at LAX for a light trim?

So I'm not bothered about a princely £180 for a haircut - it's what "top" people pay .....

A couple of days ago Kate, Duchess of Cambridge was wearing a £1500 coat on a visit to Coventry - should she have worn something from Tesco's F&F range instead:

Re: How much for a hair cut?

Footballers are amongst the most profligate males:

https://www.aol.co.uk/money/2015/02/...0-on-haircuts/

Unsurprisingly the footballer who holds the record for the most expensive haircut is David Beckham. He was reportedly required to cut and soften his hair to a specific standard as part of the deal when he became the face (and hair) of Brylcreem - and the final bill came to $6,000.
But French presidents take some beating:

French President Macron has spent $30,000 on makeup services in just 3 months

August 25, 2017

Emmanuel Macron, France’s 39-year-old president, has spent 26,000 euros ($30,000) on makeup services in his first three months in office — that's $10,000 a month, or about $330 a day. All at taxpayers’ expense.

According to Le Point, the Élysée Palace paid a makeup artist, identified only as Natacha M., on two occasions: once for 10,000 euros, and then again for 16,000 euros. The fees were apparently for doing up the president in advance of news conferences, public appearances and various travels. A spokesman for the Élysée, which faced sharp and swift criticism, announced on French television shortly after the news broke that the budget “will be reduced significantly.”

This latest makeup scandal was quickly compared to the revelations from last year that the administration of former French president François Hollande, a Socialist, paid about $11,000 a month on the president’s haircuts.
