Herbert Lom has died peacefully in his sleep at the grand old age of 95 years.
Memorable for many parts he played, but for me his funny role as Dreyfus the boss of Peter Seller's character Inspector Clouseau. Apparently the pair of them got up to lots of antics on the set
Another great actor gone.
RIP in Herbert
I remember Herbert Lom as the understanding psychiatrist in 'The Human Jungle'.
He was always the perfect gentleman, I understand he was the son a Czechoslovakian count.
He was one of my favourites, my kind of man.
He died today aged 95 so a good age. He was probably best remembered as Inspector Dreyfuss in the Pink Panther movies, but also as Doctor Roger Corder in The Human Jungle, which was a brilliant series in the 60s.
I didn't realise he was that old!. I loved the Man in films, he could look so sinister when he had to, those eyes, another one of the old gang gone, rest in peace Herbert.
