Well back in the 60`s / 70`s when i helped my mate run his disco doing a bit of DJ and providing his lighting the song that had to be played at the end of the night for the ladies was this one.

I can't put the relevant UTube piece to show this but, for me, Roberta Flack's The first time ever I saw your face still affects me to this day.

It's not specifically about Unrequited Love - but for me, it is.

And I knew our joy would fill the earth and last 'till the end of time, my love.

I still feel that and always will. stevmk2
