Good morning all, milder here after overnight rain but a dull day ahead I reckon...

The electrician should be here later to first fix the loft, I say "should be" because electricians and plumbers are notorious for losing their schedule usually caused by emergencies elsewhere, which isn't a problem in itself as long as they have the courtesy to inform you.... time will tell I suppose, fingers crossed....

Good Morning All.

I felt very tired yesterday and nodded off early evening, never a good thing as it means not getting a proper night's sleep.

I have ruck of things to do today, numerous trips to the tip and tidying up.

I have not put my house on the market, but word has got around and a local couple, who have got a buyer for their house, are coming round tomorrow with a view to making an offer on mine.

They are downsizing from a huge house at the top of the village, they even have a grand piano.

We will have to see what tomorrow brings.

Feels to be milder then yesterday, but then yesterday was very cold indeed

Off to work again- I really could do with staying in bed - but heyho off tomorrow

Had a lovely weekend with the grandkids, house is so quiet now they are gone Still they are stopping over at the end of the month so have that to look forward to

Good morning all.
I've had the grandkids overnight. Just enjoying a moments peace before they get up and ready for school. After that the days my own.

Got an aqua fit class this afternoon - nothing else planned.

Good morning fellow members a dark damp morning.

I am off to see the baby twins later and hope to make my first batch of mince pies for the family first. I made the mince meat yesterday so we are ready to go.

buenas dias all. Blue sky and sunshine, it's going to be warm again. Due to ChoCho's hair cut appointment getting cancelled a couple of weeks ago, yesterday she went to a different place. What a beautiful job the young Spanish girl did on her, beautifully trimmed, bathed, nails cut and filed, anal glands and inside ears done too. ChoCho wasn't the least bit stressed, the girl said she was so lovely to deal with, as good as gold. The cost I couldn't believe........13 euros, I normally pay 21 euros and I thought that was cheap. From there it was off to the Vet for the annual rabies vaccination, heart worm, etc, general health check, not quite so cheap there, 40 euros. A lovely young lady Vet was on duty yesterday, our regular one is on holiday, she couldn't believe ChoCho was 10 years old, especially since her teeth are still perfectly clean and white.

This morning I need to go and get some money, this afternoon we are taking friends for a birthday meal, mixed bunch as usual, but I'm sure it will be pleasant.

I have lots to do indoors but am trying to wind myself up to do them, or make a start.

Still got the new curtains to take up and fit.
Clear out the bookcase in the corner, resite (most probably in the bedroom). Resite what's in the bedroom. Where? Heaven's knows! Think I'll be taking trips to the tip.
Cut up the lino.

Bit of ironing to do and Pippa to walk then it's out for for a lunchtime meal as its John's birthday. 75 but we're not counting.
