There has been lots of cloud around today but no rain. Hit or miss thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow.

We had a little rain, earlier on this evening. First time in I don't know how long.

When you lot darn sarf were having storms and rains a while ago, we still had wall-to-wall sunshine.

So, the rain, albeit not a lot, was rather welcome. (Can't believe I just said that

)

OH says that the sweltering hot weather is coming back at the weekend. I heard a couple of weeks ago that it would go on for the whole of July and seems they were right.

We are having a very cold winter with minimums down to low single figures on some nights. Days are not too bad with temperatures 17° to above average 23°.

Not much rain and signs of a spring El Nino forming.
