Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Forgot to tell you I'd had another fall on Tuesday . I was going down to the car when I fell over my own feet . I was just outside the door in the passage . Luckily my neighbour was in and she got hold of the handiman to pick me up OMG . My knee ops just won't let me up when on the floor and I did have sloppy shoes on (they are in the bin now) Got a few nice bruises !!!

You poor thing Jac.Hope you're on the mend now.
Went to see my friend who broke her hip in April(?).She looks a lot better than she did when I saw her last month. She's moving better too.
Don't know why but there were a lot of white vans on the M4.
In for the day now-going to watch Wimbledon.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Well we did have at least an hour and a half of solid rain yesterday - amazing how much is in the water butts!

Trip to Cardiff went like clockwork (rather warm clockwork). Managed to park up and be in the restaurant 10 mins before the table was booked for. Show was awesome - I'd forgotten a lot of it but didn't cry as much this time! Home by midnight, a cup of tea and a good night's sleep.

Hope your bruises are better Jac.

Another lovely day, but the forecast isn't so good for tomorrow. Fields around are desperate for rain, so let's hope we have a decent amount. Fopr once in my life the laundry basket is empty, don't suppose it will last long though!

Same here Rhosyn, I've even shut the small windows so back to normal .
I've run around with the hoover and nearly fell again out on the balcony . I must learn not to rush so much .

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a surprise phone call this morning from my cousin. She and her husband were in Aberystwyth and suggested they come to see us on their way home. I had arranged to do a turn in the Cathedral so suggested they went home via Brecon and we could meet up for lunch. All went according to plan and it was extra special to see them as it was their wedding anniversary (I was a bridesmaid). Shower of rain on the way home but it soon stopped.

Had a light shower while taking dog for a walk this morning but soon cleared up.
