Double Pay

In Switzerland every worker gets Double Salary in December.

Why can't we have that generosity here in the UK

Because our government (ha) is too busy spending 7 million pounds on a 'trial' of traffic lights on motorways !

Have you done the maths?
The average wage of every working person in the country divided into 7 million?

Working population is approx 31 million
Average wage is approx £2500 per month..

That’s approx a bloody lot coz my calculator has just died...

The working population of Switzerland is 5018...yes five thousand and 18 most of the are bankers

We used to get double pay, until certain folk, gave up good paid jobs, and started pushing shopping trolleys for £5.00 an hour on Sundays, because it supplemented a good works pension.

Selling out jobs and industry in the process, they know who they are, but I suspect if the maths is correct, they have probably passed on, by now.
