General election

Like it or not at some stage in the future (could be sooner than later whether we want or not),but nonetheless its a coming, the question I'm raising is, if its as seems likely that there is to be a fudge on Brexit will this sway you to change parties if you voted Tories the last time.

Myself, we only have a choice down here between the tories and lib's,so either way we get the same imo.

Re: General election

If Brexit is to go ahead then it has to be the Tories.

Re: General election

Whilst I am not at all keen on Corbyn as PM, if Brexit was put into the trashcan of history that would be all to the good if Labour won the election.

Re: General election

An opinion poll today shows how illusory the Tories' neck & neck standing with Labour is - the Ukippers are deserting them, UKIP is rising in the polls and Labour has a reasonable lead that will only get wider as long as May continues her party-destroying path. General election well in time for Christmas, I reckon.

Re: General election

I will wait till it happens before deciding which way to vote, but I suspect I will vote Tory because I don't want Corbyn leading this country.
If Nigel Farrage hadn't backed out, after the Brexit vote, I may have considered voting for UKIP.

Re: General election

The thing is, is Corbyn going to be any worse than the abject May or the terrifying prospect of Johnson as PM? I think not. The Tories have been grossly incompetent ever since they won in 2010. There is no sign they are suddenly going to acquire competence.

Tend to agree, history will judge them, worse than useless it'll say.

Re: General election

Looks like we might need as we needed in 1940 a coalition.

Re: General election

Hi

Another close result if we have one soon.

If Brexit does go wrong, Corbyn will win.

A nightmare scenario.
