You're lucky, our bin men only come once a month. I wash then too whether I need to or not

Re: Old People Smell... Do You Dread Getting It?

My son who works with the public says old people smell fausty and of a greasy hair / Greasy body odour , I keep telling him not to be so rude , but he laughs and says but it's true mother .

I recently went to a meeting and there were around 100 oldies in the hall , guess what , I smelt em before I even got in the door .

OMG , I wonder if I do . Plenty of showers and a deluxe body lotion is now priority

Longy, Yes, for now!
In the future, the flowers wilt and the sweet smell changes to musty, reisty, greasy!

I wonder if we start to decompose at a certain age?

It’s frightening!!

Re: Old People Smell... Do You Dread Getting It?

My late father who was nearly 87 when he died never smelt.
He went out walking daily even on the day he died .
He ate well and did all his own housework .
He also had all his teeth .
He was the last of his family his siblings and father died young.

Dread is a strong term, most folks in Old Age would dread going to the Toilet before arriving there, or dread their Legs stop working.
