Ann darlin' surgery is possible, notwithstanding you're taking anti-coagulants. All that happens is that the surgeon will tell you stop taking your present anti-coagulant several days (up to a week) before the due date of surgery and it will be replaced with injections of tenzaparin in the stomach - be warned these are painful!!!
