it's actually easier to teach children to swim when they are babies than if it's left a year or more. Babies are born with a reflex that shuts their breathing off when they go underwater, so not inhaling in water comes naturally to them. They lose that reflex at about 8/9 months, so if they come to swimming after that age they have to taught breath control from scratch.Re: Very proud!
