Re: Old people’s bedside table

This is my bedside table, I too can’t stand clutter, what ever I need, I go to it’s rightful place.

Haha, forgot reading lamp and clock.

Katarina has much the same as me except instead of hearing aids she has her arms on it and leans her legs against it

Re: Old people’s bedside table

These beside tables don't sound like old peoples to me, if I'm honest. They just sound tidy and efficient! I'm waiting for the boiled sweets, hankies, lace doilies etc...

Pixie... Exactly!

It would be more authentic with a spittoon, a hairnet and a remote control for the television and the bed

Not forgetting of course, the glass for the false teeth and the emergency button for the alarm to summon help if required!

No, I am not joking as that's often what is required as we age. It was with my parents and unfortunately we are probably all going there, at some time or other!

I know...and the bedpan, and those little breakfast table things with legs that you can sit up and eat with, propped up against a fluffed up lacy hand embroidered pillow. Once we have them, we know we are old

On mine is a small television but I never watch it. A book, a bedside lamp, my phone and charger and glasses.

Thank goodness I'm not that old yet! The boots are there because the dog sometimes nicks them. Not a lot else. No phone, no books, no glasses, no pens..............
