Re: I'm not being a defeatist but....

Had a mad moment couple of weeks ago and took anything I couldn't make over into something else to the clothes bank, bought a six by five robust clothing rail and I've got all my winter and summer clothes sorted into colours on that. My wardrobe is now the office, with computer, desk, files and chair in there all packed away behind closed doors looking neat and tidy.

Sorted my drawers out too and did a throw and keep pile so they are not groaning at the seams now too.

Quite liberating getting it all sorted but I've now got a huge bag full of clothes I need to unpick to remake as something else. Looks like grace will be getting some new skirts and tops out of some of it, bags and hats being made with some and Elsie and Betty getting a new patch work cover for their bed too. Just need the time to do it all.

I have two single wardrobes in my bedroom, one with summer clothes and one with thicker ones for the winter.

Yes, Muddy Dubarry are the best!

The Hunter's l have were made in Scotland before they moved their manufacture to China. So you can tell how old they are!
I have several pairs of them but my daughters nick them when they go to Glastonbury for the music festival!
I can't even get my favourite Barbour Beaufort jacket anymore. I have two that are a bit tatty but l love them for the 'Poacher's' pockets on the inside.

Muddy I have two coats almost identical to that, a camel coloured one and a brown tweed, the brown tweed one is a Hobbs coat, I love it. Buy the coat Muddy winter is coming and really...why not as the ad says "We're worth it"

Ps. I got my Hunters at the Yorkshire show, it's brilliant for stuff like that always reduced too
