Azzit Appenz gumboil,my mum was born on St. Kilda-so wind yer neck in,pal.

I've been there several times-seen the remains of the house mum was born in.
The govt made everyone move off it in the 30's,said it was 'too expensive' to keep supplying goods-but they were bloody quick to put up a listening radar post, once the indigenous population were kicked out.

the way I heard it was the last 30 members of the Isle asked the govt to take them off because they were suffering multiple diseases and starving?? - mind you studying history is not as clever as going and looking at empty cottages now is it?

ps: have you watched the entire utube by the way?

Happy Valentine's Day scribblers.

St. Valentine, the patron saint of love, was executed in Rome and buried there in the 3rd century. Much later, an Irish priest was granted permission to exhume his remains, and now his skeleton lies under Whitefriar Church in Dublin.
