Noisy Pipes?

When I flush the toilet the pipes are making a hell of a row. I notice if I turn the cold water tap on the noise disappears. It seems to be that there is too much pressure in the system or something and putting the cold water tap on reduces it. Any ideas?

Yeah, knocking rumbling sound. Next thing then is how do you bleed a system to remove the airlock?

Well the video dealt with air trapped in the system but didn't deal with my problem which is to do with the toilet. Anyway I googled and found a forum entry by someone with exactly the same problem - appears to be faulty toilet valve seals. If that is the case it could be a very cheap fix .

Re: Noisy Pipes?

Nah, you are both wrong as I always find chocolate acts as a laxative on me for some reason .
