Frome - compassionate communities

I realize that this started some five years ago but the concept is being marketed in OZ lately - so just wondering whether it is still working well or ever has been?

well we had two organizers from Uk talking on our national tv and waxing lyrical about its success!! - perhaps it was so successful people didn't even notice?

I lived not far from Frome until recently, visited there often, never heard about this or I would have enquired about it.
